Harmony Hills' ESOL program integrates language and content learning through content-based instruction. ESOL students receive language and content instruction in all content areas (reading, writing, math, science, and social studies) through deliberate, collaborative co-planning between ESOL and classroom teachers. Harmony Hills uses a variety of teaching models to accommodate the diverse needs of our students including:
- ESOL teacher and classroom teacher co-teaching in reading, writing, and math
- Plug-in, pull-aside, needs-based ESOL instruction in the classroom
- Additional pull-out, small group instruction for newcomers
